Xmas is definitely that time to make cookies. So if you don’t want to eat the ones that your sister makes when she feels creative, take notes: this recipe you'll be able to make with her, won’t disappoint anyone.
These are the ingredients you’ll need:
Flour (250 g)
Sugar (150 g)
2 eggs (vegan alternative: 4 tbsp ground flaxseed or a supermarket vegan egg substitute)
Butter (85 g)
1 teaspoon of yeast
Chocolate chips (120 g)
Follow these easy steps:
1. Take a large bowl, add the flour, the sugar, the two eggs and the yeast.
2. Meanwhile, put 3 tablespoons of butter in a bowl and heat it for a few seconds in the microwave until it melts.
3. Add the butter to the rest of the ingredients and mix everything well until it is a homogeneous dough. You can do it directly or use a mixer.
4. Leave it in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes until it cools down.
5. Take out the dough and start making small balls. Place them on the tray leaving space between them. When you have them, sprinkle some sprinkles on top as you like.
6. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees and, once hot, introduce the tray and leave it for a quarter of an hour until you see that they have that golden color and appetizing.
7. Ready! Let them lose some temperature and serve them.
