We care about the people and the planet. That’s why our purpose revolves around the water crisis. Every time you purchase HAAN you are supporting this statement, as we donate part of our profits to support clean water projects.
Changoma School
Nobody can be focused while being thirsty, evenless a little girl or boy. Right? So now close your eyes and imagine yourself being a kid and being thirsty during a full day of class. Day after day. This is the reason why we chose Changoma School for our first water project in Malawi.
Mchenga
Mchenga's village was slightly smaller than others we had previously visited. However, very soon we realized, when talking about water, numbers don't matter that much... It's all about the people.
Thugwalungwa
Women and little girls are mainly the ones that go every day in the search for water, which takes them time away from other tasks such as learning, working, or doing household chores. Not having water means a lack of sanitation but also education and self-development.
Chamba-Dzana
When we first got to Chamba-Dzana, another little village in the Benga region, we were so impressed to see how happy this community was, how much energy they all had, and how warmly they welcomed us. They were living on the edge, but still they had an amazing positive outlook and tried to take advantage of every little detail.
Tsawala
In this journey, we came across Tsawala, a little village in the district of Salima which we fell in love with because of its community spirit, joy and positive spirit.
Ndodo
In this journey, we visited Ndodo, an isolated village in the outskirts of Malawi. When arriving to the location, it was clear to us how difficult it would be to create a well for the people of its community
Kalembo
After a hard year due to the outburst of COVID-19 global pandemic, we've managed to continue working on our social purpose: creating underground wells to help developing communities have access to clean water.
Delekena
The community of Deleneka lived in an isolated rural area and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their families. Not only does this keep children out of school and take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water fetched often carries diseases that can make everyone sick.
Galamuku
Thanks to your contribution, a couple of months ago we started drilling the boreholes for Galamuku's water well. We are happy to announce that last week construction.
Chapata
For the people of Chapata, water has a completely different meaning. Something so vital and yet rare in their everyday. Its lack affects the life of its community in every one of its aspects.
Mtsilo
Hi, my name is Chiwa. Welcome to my home, Mtsilo. People always say my community is very outgoing. We do love to celebrate life.
Fotserani
Once we found ourselves in the village of Fotserani (Malawi), we were captivated by the sense of community and positive atmosphere its people had regardless of their poor living conditions.
Kadchezera
Have you ever had to choose between going to school or drinking water? Most of us haven't, but that's still the reality for most girls in Malawi.
Njovu
As of today, 1 in 10 people are lacking access to clean water. Even though numbers are scary, it's still very hard to imagine what this looks like. A few months ago, we visited Malawi to check on wells that have been built and look for new communities to help.
